My name is Mael Cabarrus. I am a self-taught artist and love the process of trial and error when learning something new. I pull inspiration from my experiences and anything tangible that catches my eye. For a nutshell version about me: my formal education consists of a performing arts bachelor's degree from UIC and a master's degree in education from Roosevelt University. I am an Army veteran. One of ten children, the eighth born to Ernie and Evangeline. Not big into online commerce when it comes to my art, but I know it is the way of the world. I am slowly giving into it. I cherish a personal touch when sharing my work, valuing quality over quantity any day. ~ Mael
